if you're one act short of your random act of kindness for the day, give me money! no, not actually me. relay for life (to raise money for cancer research) is on april 22-23. if you're thinking 'relay for wha?' then let me explain - it's an all night vigil of sorts -- our team (virginia tech grad students) will keep someone walking all night long around the track, along with dozens of other teams from virginia tech, to support research for a cure to cancer. before the relay however, we hit up our friends and family for money :) so take a look at the website, it's very easy to donate, and if you are stuck in the 80's and putting credit card info on the internet freaks you out a bit, just let me know- there are alternate means of donation :) thanks!
